Kids app Interface designs

More UI design I did for the sofatutor KIDS app. Being one of the first illustrators on the project, I offered my past experience in game- and UI design, giving me the chance to vastly contribute to the entire visual style of the project. The app was uniquely challenging, as we had to create background and UI/UX that can be understood by little kids, but also market it to their parents and give them control in various settings. After being an illustrator and concept artist for this project from the beginning, I was offered a position as a game designer for my passion and contribution to this project.

The home screen design of the app. This was a later version which got a bigger overhaul than the previous ones. The big icon to the very right was new content about to be released, so it was previously shown with only three big icons.

An example for a learning adventure. The challenge was to make this understandable for little kids.

Additional infos for the parents of the kids, letting them check if their child is ready for this school prepping feature (Given the app was for children age 3-6, their individual abilities vary greatly during that age)

Some more classical UI design for the parents in the setting. One day I was creating cute little animals in a background and the next I was making serious UI design to create accounts, go into the settings and so on, which was very interesting.
